We renounce the blind following of style, or achieving “high-end”

Design of living spaces has departed from its historic luxury oriented mindset of servicing nobles and affluents. The word “high-end” has gone out of fashion because of its association of its function of distinguishing upper classes to lower ones, which is no longer relevant. Instead, 21st century living should be dynamic, diversified, and most importantly, comfortable.

At JAAK, we redefine luxury by tailoring spaces to individual needs and habits by tracing back to the essence of comfort.

Such design is not achieved through extravaganza but rather through relentless attention to detail, either through a selection of a piece of furniture, or careful composition of form and material. The name JAAK, a homophone of cantonese pronunciation - “宅 (home)“, is an opening statement for founders Chau and Calvin to redefine contemporary living.
